Calla Lilies

The calla lilies at the front of the house are in bloom. Watching them in their various steps as they unfurl their bloom is interesting.

Thank you. I think they are so exotic. I love that they are in my garden. I didn't plant them. The previous owner did that for me!

Greetings from Vermont!

We love snowdrops but here in the mountain, they are still under a lot of snow. It's going quickly and more rain is expected but we still have to be patient.

As for the callas, we have to treat them as an annual and dig them each fall. They are a beautiful flower but seldom grown here because people get fearful when they read the zone number. My son in Seattle has some by the front steps and I have to say that's a beautiful sight when they are in bloom.

I have enjoyed you pictures from...... zone 23.
