Several days later...
My goodness! I couldn't miss this bloomin' beauty. I think the bright, hot, sunny days have definitely worked magic on the blooming of this cactus. I couldn't help but report the additional flowers.
It's as if the garden fairy has had a hand in this. You are not an ugly, thorny plant! You are a zazzy, snappy flowering Mammillaria (cactus genus!).
