This is my first zucchini of the summer. I am very excited. Last year I had a lackluster harvest even though my zucchini plant took up half of my very small garden. I have the sauté pan on the stove and the shredded parmesan ready for tonight's dinner.
One of my absolutely favourite vegetables...do you eat the flowers too? These are very popular in Italy....can't get them in England, so I have to grow the courgettes!!

When we moved to California, the man who helps me mow the lawn told me you could eat the flowers. I never knew how to do it. I will love seeing your recipe.
