Happy Monday Morning, Mr. Snake

Sleeping Snake at Garden Inn.

I would have left a chocolate mint if I knew you were spending the night.
Every morning I walk out the kitchen door for a morning garden inspection.  Right out the door this morning was my slithering friend.  I'm not sure what a rattlesnakes skin is like, but I quickly checked the tail.  No rattle.  The good news is a snake in the garden probably keeps away little rodents.  The bad new is a snake in the garden also keeps away the gardener.  YIKES!

He's resting his little chin, great photo. Yes, I too vacate the garden quickly at the sight of a snake, any snake...

Good story and sensible comment by Hoover Boo. We catch snakes and other live reptiles in Melbourne as a business and advise people to keep clear of all snakes as most people can't tell the dangerous ones apart from the others. Just so you know, the snake in the image was actually a non-dangerous kind.
All the best

Glad to know he was a safe snake. I do scan the entire garden looking for him before I go about my daily garden activities. I don't want to be plucking a weed from the garden and encounter him slithering through. Ha.
