Snappy Blossom in the February California Garden

Love the delicate blossom of sugar snap peas.

Tendrils hold on to the twine as they grow toward the sun.
A drop of morning dew clings to the dried blossom of the growing sugar snap pea.

The morning sun creates an "x-ray" view of the inside of the snap pea.

I love this time of year, when the peas are so sweet and snappy. That's a great photo of the light streaming through the translucent flower and pod.
