When Honeysuckle Meets Vinca

2011 Color of the Year Honeysuckle Makes Turquoise so 2010

As spring approaches and we dream of summer gardens, honeysuckle pink might be your inspiration this year for seasonal color.  Pantone, a world-wide color authority, has announced the color of the year is honeysuckle pink.  Bidding adieu to 2010 turquoise, honeysuckle pink provides the "verve and vigor we need to embolden us to face our everyday troubles."  The color allures and engages and "brings a feeling of nostalgia for carefree days of spring and summer."

Pantone says of its selection:

Energizing Honeysuckle Lifts Spirits and
Imparts Confidence to Meet Life's Ongoing Challenges

When seed shopping or visiting the local garden shop this spring, you will be up-to-the-minute if you think pink.
