Colorful Cactus adds to Interest in the Garden

I've posted cactus in bloom which sports beautiful pink flowers.  I like this cactus with its pads of  pink and purple hues.  Landscaping can be more interesting if the specimen has depth of color.

Gradient colors from blue green to yellowish pink make this an interesting specimen for the garden landscape.

Cactus, Pretty in Pink

There is a trail near my home which is lush with vegetation. This vegetation has to be draught tolerant because there is not irrigation here except what comes out of the skies (--rain!). When walking today, my friend and I saw something pink a bit off the trail. Its mate was nearby, a little green with envy, I think.
