California weather allows for the early blooming of bulbs. This little collection of blooms you can find in the bed at the front of the house. I happened to notice them just in time because some of the blooms are already spent.
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on
high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing
in the breeze.…
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads
in sprightly dance.

The Water Cooler
Here's an interesting site from California. It is called The Water Cooler and is California's first official water blog. One of the sections is called Waterlogged--get soaked in water knowledge.
It's worth a visit to get your green look on water usage!

Roger's Gardens--Succulents and More
Here are a few ideas from Roger's Gardens to add to my new garden space. The larger plant is leucadendron safari sunset.
Thanks to a comment from a reader, I am rethinking whether I will introduce the ice plant to my garden. Apparently, very invasive. We have a wonderful nursery near our home which specializes in native plants. I think I will stop by to get some recommendations from them.

The Garden Renovation is Almost Complete
This is the plaster surface we selected for the spa. It is by Gemstone and is called blue diamond.
The plastering is complete and the water is back in the spa. The plaster needs to be conditioned for the next week, and then the spa is functional again. I love the mosiac koi.
I will be posting photos of the new layout over the next few days.
