This onion bloom is getting ready to provide me with onions in the next garden season. The greenish pods will continue to dry out eventually popping open to reveal seeds. Previously when this happened, the seeds scattered through the garden and became seedlings. I have so many purple onions that I hope the same thing happens with this yellow onion bloom. I could use a little variety.
