Pumpkin Harvest

I decided to harvest the trio of pumpkins before they turned completely ripe. I had to do this because I have had garden visitors this year who have sampled everything I am growing. I didn't want these pumpkins to be devoured while I slept. I will store them in a cool, dark closet and hopefully they will make it to October and Halloween.

The stripes on your pumpkins look really neat! Good luck with getting them to October. I hope they make it.

What variety of pumpkins are they? My pumpkins don't have cool stripes on them when they are green like yours. I think I like the look of your green striped pumpkins better than ripe orange ones. Thanks for sharing. Keep up the great blogging!

All your photos are crystal clear. It was fun to read what you said about your different interests. I enjoyed talking to you in person on our flight into San Jose. Take care and keep gardening.
