Loropetalum Razzle

Loropetalum Razzle is a new plant in my garden. I love the showy flowers which almost look like pom poms. The foliage is also striking.

The foliage is very striking -- razzel seems to suit this plant, as in razzle dazzle. :)
Good luck on the loropetalum. I am always seduced by it but for some reason I have a hard time keeping it looking good. It always looks like it is about to expire and instead of giving up I hang onto hope that it will some day look like it did at the nursery when I brought it home! I guess I just haven;t found the right spot!
One of my favorites to use as a medium size shrub. I especially like to combine it with light pink flowers and other burgundy leaf plants. Try it near some pink Breath of Heaven surrounded by Snow In Summer! Exquisite! I see that Sheila mentioned that it's a bit finicky. I find it's best in full morning light but some afternoon protection. Also, keep it moderately moist but not to either extreme.
