The honeysuckle vine in my garden is actually my neighbor's plant. The vine is moderately vigorous and invasive. I don't mind this plant, though, because it produces a fragant bloom.

My mom taught me how to harvest honeysuckle nectar when I was very young. You pluck the flower, carefully draw the stamens through the blossom backwards and one drop of sweet nectar is the result. Time consuming but fun!

The honeysuckle in my front yard is covering my entire shrubbery. I must go out to cut it back before it takes over the world!
