Bees

I'm watching the evening news and hear that beekeepers are finding many of their bee hives are missing something very important--the bees. As a gardener, I am alarmed and hope the scientist studying this problem find an answer to this perplexing problem.

In an article on MSNBC's web site, apparently 22 states have reported this problem.

It's not only happening in the USA. Over here in Europe bees are being hit hard with some mysterious disease. As a gardener I feel very worried because we need bees!

Personally I love the little critters and have never been stung. If you leave them alone, the bees will leave you alone too, that's what I've always found.

BTW Found your blog via Garden Voices, I will visit your blog again!

Thanks for stopping by. I love bees, too, however, I have been stung a few too many times, mostly as a teen as I ran around barefoot.

Our entire neighborhood features two to three pepper trees in every yard. In the spring, they are so packed with bees you can hear them buzzing as you walk the neighborhood. I will be interested to see if I notice a difference this spring.
