Fireworks in Laguna Niguel

My friend graciously invites us to the best firework display anywhere. We walk to the top of their hill and see fireworks from many communities around the area such as San Clemente, Three Arch Bay, Dana Point, San Juan Capistrano. It's 360 degrees of fireworks. Amazing.

So, with such a great vantage point, I had to bring the digital camera to see what success I could have with photographing fireworks! Thanks to the team efforts of the viewing group, the photos worked.

Gorgeous photos! Fireworks are so hard to capture in photos - but I think you had great success! As a kid I always tried but they always turned out black backgrounds with neon color blobs.

Hooray for digital cameras! :)

You are right. My success was thanks to my digital camera. I set the shutter speed to 15 seconds. Then all I had to do was snap away!
