Mist Covered White Rose

My white roses really loved the heat wave we had last week. I notice the weeks with our marine layer (heavy dense low cloud cover) the roses had a tendency to go brownish. Once we had our mini heat wave, all of the roses were very white. The mist adds a look of purity. A very close look and you can see the tiniest touch of pink around the edge of some of the petals.

I do love the year round gardening. I miss the lush greeness of the midwest, though!

Your blog is great. Hope you capture a hummingbird on film for us!
