Fire Resistant Ground Cover

Yesterday was the official start of fire season in California. There are specific types of plants which are suggested for use because of their fire resistance. This particular ground cover is in that category because of its high moisture content. The bold, colorful blooms are a bonus!

Mist filled the air last night. All the garden was covered in droplets of water making everything beautiful.

Hi. I'd like to check out your blog some more, but the text is very tiny and hard to read. I use Firefox, if that helps.

Could you make it bigger or darker or both?

Hi!

I had noticed the size of the font but thought it was because I use AOL. I think I have fixed the problem by selecting a new template. Let me know if this has fixed the problem for you!

P.S. Thanks for reading!

i love your blog. photographs are most inspiring. i don't have any trouble with size of font.
i have a broken wrist, hence no punctuation. too difficult.
what is the name of this ground cover,as i would like to use it.
i live in south west victoria, australia, where it is now winter, not as wet as we would like, fairly dark, not enough sun, so vegetables are growing very slowly, broad beans, red and green cabbages, carrots, lettuces, cauliflowers, brussel sprouts, onions leeks, lots of parsley and mint. i use pineapple sge flowers in salads, delicious.

Sounds like you have a substantial garden to tend.

I like the idea of pineapple sage in a salad. I will try it soon.

It's late and I am foggy on the name of the ground cover. When my mind remembers I will post it.

Thanks for reading my blog! G'day!
